What could be more encouraging and helpful to your outlook on life than a fresh change of underwear and socks if you really need one?
Simple Needs Sundays are regular Parish collection drives in support of the most basic and urgent needs of our homeless and struggling neighbors. Essential everyday items that are in constant need and short supply on the streets, like toiletries, socks and underwear, or a warm jacket and cap in the winter, are collected on a rotating basis at Masses on the second Sunday of most months. These are distributed locally through various Catholic service agencies directly to those most in need.
Look for regular bulletin and eNewsletter announcements on which items are being collected, and remember, even the smallest contribution can make someone’s day!
