The Committee advises the pastor and staff by soliciting and reviewing proposals for the long-term maintenance, preservation, and enhancement of the historic church building, its infrastructure, and systems. It recommends which firms or contractors to engage, advises on the sequencing and structuring of the work flow, discusses aesthetic and design considerations, and aligns building plans with the capital budget.
Desired Skill Set:
Knowledge and interest in property management, building trades, architecture, and design or historic preservation. Experience with building projects or renovations.
Time Commitment:
The Committee meets for about 90 minutes as needed to authorize or review proposals or make recommendations, typically once per calendar quarter.
