Welcome to Pilgrims, the Children's Faith Formation program at St. Ignatius Parish.
St. Ignatius Pilgrims is a Pre-K through 8th grade children’s faith formation program that focuses on forming students to develop a personal relationship with God, an emerging sense of authentic self, and an orientation toward service with a heart for justice through Ignatian pedagogy. Our program includes First Holy Communion and Confirmation preparation.
Just as St. Ignatius referred to himself as a pilgrim, our students will come to know that they are on a lifelong journey of faith with a backpack full of spiritual tools to deeply engage the world.
Love God
Using Loyola Press's Finding God curriculum, our classes engage students' hearts, minds, and souls as they come to grow in relationship with God.
Serve others
Integrating Catholic teaching into daily life means living as disciples who seek to serve. Families will have the opportunity to participate in service throughout the year.
Be yourself
Students will be given the tools for discernment and prayer to uncover who they are called to be as a child of God.
Classes meet weekly on Sundays from September through May (please note that the Fall 2020 semester will be held online):
