Dear Sisters and Brothers –
Several weeks ago, I made another appeal for your support of the 2018 Archdiocesan Annual Appeal. You were so generous – more than $40,000 was pledged or donated toward our goal! To date, 203 households have given or pledged $122,503, or 53.2% of our total, $230,240. Thank you so much. We have until December 31 to raise the rest. Those who have yet to make a pledge may do so by using one of the AAA flyers in the pews of the church.
As I noted in my homily that weekend, we are invited to remember that we are one part of the whole Body of Christ, and our own ministries are amplified when we partner with other parishes and the Archdiocese, whose works we support through the AAA.
Please keep this important Appeal and the works it supports in your prayers.
Also, please keep me in your prayers – I am on retreat these days with four Jesuit brothers at Redwoods Abbey, a monastery of women Trappists in northern California. I’m praying with good men and women these days; know that in those prayers, I am including you and your needs and intentions, as well as the life of our parish community.
Oremus pro invicem,
