We recognize how important it is to gather with family and friends for an appropriate farewell for a relative or loved one, and to commend his or her soul to God.
St. Ignatius Church has helped families, first-responders and individuals remember their dearly departed with respect, awe and love.
“Lord, for your faithful people, life is changed, not ended . . . “
At St. Ignatius Parish, funerals and memorials are planned with a priest, the Director of Sacramental
Preparation, and the family or friends of the deceased. Upon the death of a loved one, please call Don Crean at the Parish Offices at 415-422-6520. The Director of Sacramental Preparation will organize a meeting to plan the funeral liturgy.
Below are helpful tools as you plan a funeral or memorial at St Ignatius Parish. Review of these materials will be helpful during the funeral planning meeting.
