At St. Ignatius Parish, preparation for First Holy Communion for baptized children is a two-year process which takes place as part of our Children's Faith Formation program, generally during 1st and 2nd grade. Parents of unbaptized children who wish to learn more about how their child can receive First Holy Communion are invited to contact Lisa Freese.
At St. Ignatius Parish, First Holy Communion takes place as the first sacrament of our Children’s Faith Formation program.
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a multi-month religious formation program for adults who wish to join the Catholic Church or to become fully initiated in the sacraments including First Communion.
