Join our regular Parish collection drive in support of the most basic and urgent needs of our homeless and struggling neighbors. Bring coffee (ground) and tea (bags) to all Masses this Simple Needs weekend for Project Open Hand, whose mission is to improve health outcomes and quality of life by providing nutritious meals to the sick and vulnerable, caring for and educating our community.
On Simple Needs Sundays essential everyday items that are in constant need and short supply on the streets, like toiletries, socks and underwear, or a warm jacket and cap in the winter, are collected on a rotating basis at Masses on the second Sunday of most months. These are distributed locally through various Catholic service agencies directly to those most in need.
