St. Ignatius Parish announces the current year’s summer movie series, three films of particular interest to parishioners. This year we offer three very different movies with highly intense points of view. All three of these movies will be screened in the Fromm building just behind the church immediately following the 5:00 pm Mass. Pizza, beer, and soft-drinks will be provided.

Saturday, June 8: The Third Miracle, starring Ed Harris, Anne Heche, and Armin Mueller-Stahl, is “a provocative and powerful mystery” and “a masterwork of filmmaking that 'packs the power of a genuine revelation.’”  Fr. John Coleman, S.J. will facilitate the discussion after we view the movie together.
Saturday, July 20:  St. Ignatius of Loyola: Soldier, Sinner, Saint, directed by a well-known Fillipino film maker, Paolo Dy, is a biographic dramatic portrayal of the patron of our parish. Introductory material and facilitation of the after-movie discussion will be provided by Fr. Jordie Orbe, S.J., who has direct familiarity with the movie and its makers.
Saturday, August 3:  Vision, a story from the life of Hildegard Von Bingen, a famed 12th Century, Benedictine nun, “a Christian mystic, composer, philosopher, playwright, poet, naturalist, scientist, physician, herbalist, and ecological activist.”
