Share Your Care for the Environment with Laudato Si' Circles!

January 26 at 12:00 Noon in the Blue Room of The Shop

Meetings held in the Blue Room at Noon (The Blue Room entrance is located at the back of The Shop to the left of Our Lady's Altar.)

Happy Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi!  For those of you concerned about the environment and the Care for our Common Home, St. Ignatius Parish is one of a hundred or so parishes worldwide to have registered a Laudato Si' Circles. Every meeting we Pray, Reflect, Act using Laudato Si' as our guiding document.  Laudato Si' Encyclicals are now available in The Shop.

Starting on October 20 we will be discussing Laudato Si' (the Pope's Encyclical on the Environment and Ecology).  Although we are specifically NOT a book club, we will start by discussing a chapter of the Encyclical every time we meet. Please note that you can come to one, two, or all the meetings. We will meet on the following dates:

Jan 26: Chapter 5

Feb 9: Chapter 6

Feb 23 and going forward: Reflections provided by the Global Catholic Climate Movement and the Catholic Climate Covenant.

Get your copy of the Laudato Si' Papal Encyclical at The Shop at St. Ignatius!

St. Ignatius parishioners support the youth at the Global Climate Strike in downtown San Francisco on Friday, September 20, 2019!

There are many ways we can support the youth in calling attention to climate change and do your part to heed Pope Francis' call to care for our environment.

Be a part of a coastal cleanup!
