Bike to Worship

All levels of bike riders welcome! Following Mass and a blessing of the bikes, adults and children ride through Golden Gate Park. The afternoon highlights include a picnic lunch and fun prizes.

Christmas Emporium

For one Sunday in December, the parish invites vendors from around the Bay Area to join us for a day of shopping and holiday fun. Santa visits. There are gifts to fit every budget. It is a way to do some Christmas shopping as well as mingle with other parishioners.

Name Tag Month

As part of our Parish’s effort to be a welcoming and inviting community, Name Tag Month is held in the spring and fall each year, where worshippers and visitors are invited to wear a name tag during Mass. Although a simple concept, Name Tag Month has proven to be a popular and effective way to help our community get to know each other by name, and becoma a worshipping community one with each other..

Parish Fair

At the end of September following a combined 10:00 am Mass, our biggest community building event brings together over 500 adults and children. Held on the lawn outside the church we gather for a delicious BBQ lunch, silent auction, raffle and fun and games for the whole family.

Parish Picnic

This event is held each September after a combined 10 am Sunday Mass (9:30 am & 11:00 am Masses combined). We gather just outside the church on the USF lawn for delicious BBQ lunch, silent auction, raffle, and fun & games for the whole family. It is a popular event and brings 300+ parishioners together for a fun-filled day.

Senior Ministry

This ministry thrives as seniors (50+) come and enjoy each other’s company and participate in the activities. The activities reflect the interests of senior members of our parish. The group meets once a month, on the second Friday of the month.

St. Ignatius in the Neighborhood

Several times throughout the year, our parishioners graciously open their homes to neighboring parishioners. This event creates a more intimate opportunity for us to get to know St. Ignatius parishioners in our own neighborhood.

Welcoming Committee

This newly formed committee has been developed to welcome new members of our parish, introduce them to other parishioners, and encourage their participation in a variety of ways. Occasional cocktail receptions are planned after our 5:00 pm Mass for new parishioners to meet Fr. Greg as well as other members of the parish.
