Every holiday season, St. Ignatius Parish generously supports children, teens, adults, and seniors in need through the Advent Giving Tree. This year's event runs from November 13-December 11.
The Parish coordinates with local nonprofits, schools, and senior care programs to provide gifts to those especially in need at the Christmas season. Through the generosity of St. Ignatius parishioners, Advent Giving Tree annually distributes 350 gifts through partnerships with a dozen nonprofits, schools and senior care programs in San Francisco.
How it works:
Beginning November 13, an Advent tree with colored tags will be located near the Parker Avenue doors. Choose a tag, purchase the gift or gift card requested and return it to the basket at the Mary altar or to the Parish offices no later than following the 10 am Mass on December 11. This will ensure the gifts are delivered by Christmas.
Thank you for making Christmas special for needy San Franciscans.
