St. Ignatius Shelter Meal Program
St. Joseph's Family Center

About the Ministry:
St. Joseph's Family Center, a program of San Francisco Catholic Charities/CYO, offers an emergency residential program for pregnant women and homeless families. For more information about St. Joseph's Family Center,
please click here to visit the CC/CYO web site,
and then click on "St. Joseph's Family Center".

How can I get involved?
St. Ignatius vounteers cook and deliver dinners to St. Josephs's on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. (Currently our volunteers do not serve meals on-site at St. Joseph's as they do at some other shelters.) Food preparation is done in Xavier Kitchen, located in Fromm Hall on the USF campus.

Our dinners for St. Joseph's Family Center are prepared in the spirit of the Shelter Meal Program: delicious, nutritious, highest quality meals, made with the finest ingredients and provided in a spirit of warmth and generous hospitality, just as we would serve guests in our own homes.
