St. Ignatius Shelter Meal Program
Hospitality House

About the Ministry:
Central City Hospitality House has served the homeless community in San Francisco's Tenderloin district since 1967. For full information about Hospitality House,
please click here to visit their web site.

How can I get involved?
Since September, 2008, St. Ignatius volunteers have been preparing meals for Hospitality House.

Vounteers cook and deliver dinners to Hospitality House on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month. (Currently our volunteers do not serve meals on-site at Hospitality House as they do at some other shelters.) Food preparation is done in Xavier Kitchen, located in Fromm Hall on the USF campus.

Our dinners for Hospitality House are prepared in the spirit of the Shelter Meal Program: delicious, nutritious, highest quality meals, made with the finest ingredients and provided in a spirit of warmth and generous hospitality, just as we would serve guests in our own homes.
