St. Ignatius Shelter Meal Program
Hospitality House

About the Ministry:
Central City Hospitality House has served the homeless community in San Francisco's Tenderloin district since 1967. For full information about Hospitality House,
please click here to visit their web site.

How can I get involved?
Hospitality House is the newest addition to the list of shelters served by the St. Ignatius Shelter Meal Program. September 13, 2008, marks our first meal date at that location. St. Ignatius vounteers serve dinner on the second Saturday of each month, and deliver meals (no serving) on the fourth Saturday. Volunteers also assist with food preparation in Xavier Kitchen, located in Fromm Hall on the USF campus.

Our dinners at Hospitality House are served in the spirit of the Shelter Meal Program: delicious, nutritious, highest quality meals, prepared with the finest ingredients and served in an atmosphere of warmth and generous hospitality, just as we would serve guests in our own homes.
