Sunday Hospitality Hour

For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them. Matthew 18: 20

Being part of a parish is all about gathering. We gather for Mass, we gather to share our faith, and we gather to serve others. Another way that our parish gathers is to socialize--spending time together to develop or deepen friendships and create a genuine community. This personal interaction is an important part of being a community of faith.

Hospitality is held after the 9:30 Mass each week and after the 11:00 Mass on the first Sunday of each month.

For those of you who join us for Hospitality Hour on Sunday mornings, you know what a wonderful opportunity it is to spend time with fellow parishioners. Every Sunday we have the chance to gather together, enjoy refreshments and get to know each other a little better thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers.

But we need you! Sunday Hospitality is volunteer-driven and as our numbers have increased, we now need to double the number of volunteers!

How you can help:

  • Host a Sunday Hospitality. Hosts make coffee, “plate up” food donations, set the table and pour juice. NO EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED. A coordinator will be on hand to guide you and other volunteers. This is a great service project for your family! You can sign up once a month or for just one Sunday--it’s up to you.

  • Set up tables before 9:30 Mass. We desperately need strong individuals to help , especially when Hospitality is held outside. A great project for a teenager. Arrive by 9:10 am.

  • Bring juice or a breakfast treat (muffins, fruit, coffee cake)

  • Break down tables and clean up. Can’t get to church early? This is a good one for you!

Sunday Hospitality is for the community, by the community. Can you share your time to make it happen? For more information, contact:
